We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager for an engineering company in Edenbridge. This role will see you working with all company departments and customers to successfully sell niche products and parts. You will be responding to sales enquiries from customers, providing accurate quotations and managing their accounts from placing the order, through the design and production process.

Duties of the role include:
- Receiving orders from customers, accurately providing quotations and costs
- Respond to technical questions and enquiries
- Working with customer service, engineering and production to ensure requirements are translated properly and completed within agreed time frames
- Carry out contract reviews with existing customers
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
- Writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Assisting with marketing, exhibitions and site visitors
- Seeking new business and general account management

This role will suit someone with technical sales experience in manufacturing or engineering. Any experience in Aerospace engineering or UK government regulations (AS9100) would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Two to five years related and relevant experience and/or training
- A Bachelors degree level education
- Experience in customer services and account management
- Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- A high standard of written English and report writing skills
- A head for mathematics including basic algebra and geometry
- The ability to think on your feet, calculate figures/ percentages, and solve practical problems
- An organised and methodical approach to work
