Contracts Manager
What does a Contracts Manager do?
Manage all costs relating to specific building and servicing contracts, from the initial calculations to the final figures, working on behalf of Client Councils to ensure that East Kent Housing fulfils its contractual obligations to its Client Councils by delivering planned, cyclical and maintenance programmes to quality, time and budget.
Support the procurement of new contracts as required including applying good technical knowledge and experience, scoping requirements, packaging of work and writing specifications.
Provide effective and timely communication to all stakeholders, including residents and leaseholders, staff and councils, in relation to servicing, planned and cyclical programmes.
Ensure that contracts are managed correctly and that the specified deliverables and standards set out in the contract documents are achieved.
This role will be primarily based at East Kent Housing’s Head Office in Aylesham, Kent, and required to work across all four Client Council areas (Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, and Folkestone & Hythe) on a regular basis.
