Receptionist/Administrator - £25K DOE - London
Our client has a global network positioned in over 100 countries and is still fast growing with big ambitions. They're now looking for a Receptionist to support their very busy department.
The Receptionist will provide a high standard of service, answering calls in a timely manner and dealing with visitors/clients and members of staff with courtesy and efficiency. In addition, you will complete a variety of administration duties for colleagues in other departments. This is an exciting role for someone that wants to reach their full potential, you will be challenged every day and will be able to expand and grow.
About the job
* Deal with clients in a confident and professional manner at all times
* Notify staff immediately of any incoming post/parcels/files on arrival
* Check Meeting Room Manager throughout the day and produce a report at close of business to ensure all room set up and catering requirements are captured for the following day. Ensure rooms are ready in a timely manner
* Arrange for couriers as and when required
* Recognise cleaning issues and communicate these to the Facilities Supervisor
* Support the Dividend Watch team with administration duties, typing and data entry
* Complete mail merges and other ad-hoc duties for the Debt Management team
About the ideal candidate
* To maintain excellent relationships with visitors and staff and adapts approach to meet the needs of these clients/visitors
* To maintain a fast and effective telephone answering service to all calls, internal and external
* To have a confident and professional approach when dealing with clients
* Proactive, and acts on own initiative, identify and solve problems and to "think on one's feet"
* Ability to cope with change, to be flexible and handle difficult situations
* Ability to prioritise, to manage workload effectively
Requirements
* English Language - GCSE Grade B or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience of carrying out receptionist duties within a professional organisation
* Excellent communication skills, with confident manner
Desirable
* Proven experience of good client relations
