Business Account Manager

Our Client is a large Fuel and Lubricants company with 700 clients looking for an experience Business account manager to work in their team based in Ashford.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for personal safety of colleagues, contractors, visitors and customers within the work place
- Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures
- Targeting and obtaining new business through focused sales drive
- Evaluating and ensuring margin maximisation
- Identify and pursue new and existing business development opportunities
- Accountable for retention of existing customer portfolio
- Negotiating and re-negotiating contract terms in line with commercial propositions
- Management of legal diary for existing contracted commercial accounts to facilitate retention
- Awareness of marketing opportunities to promote sales.
- Collect and correctly input into CODAS all customer data that is required
- Handle customer financial details in an appropriate manner
- Be aware of business targets
- Ensure customer requirements are met in a professional manner
- Provide first line support to the team for telephone enquiries and customer complaints and ensure complaints are escalated appropriately.
- Attend client meetings

Skills & Experience:
- History of account management with 3 years’ experience
- Based in Ashford must be able to travel around the whole of Sussex
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confident in own ability
- Target driven
- GCSE maths and English required

Extras:
- £25k
- Minimum £500 a month in commission (uncapped)
- 20 days holiday with 25 after 2 years
- Pension
- Receive a company car
- Expense Fuel
