Engineering Administrator with a technical mind and relevant experience within Engineering is required to work for a growing construction company who are based close to Sevenoaks. Working in a large team of Engineers you will provide administration support to the Engineering department, maintaining records of all processes, plant, equipment and buildings ensuring engineering drawings are up-to-date and accurate.
As a switched on, technically-minded Engineering Administrator some of your duties will include:
- Administer the Planned Preventive Maintenance software. Setup document control, distributing and signing off completed PPMs. Develop the PPM schedule, ensuring machinery records are concise and accurate. Present regular reports and update KPI's.
- Maintain a site risk register, ensuring legal compliance in specific areas of manufacturing. Setup periodic service inspections for key machinery.
- Manage the Lost time data analysis, highlighting vulnerable machinery, updating the PPM inspections and making uptime recommendations.
- Assist with engineering projects to ensure that components are specified, ordered and delivered on schedule.
- Complete machinery checks to ensure that an adequate supply of spares stock and equipment is maintained.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
The job requires:
*An engineering qualification or similar background
*A minimum of 2 years' engineering or relevant industry experience
*Good human relations, motivational and communications skills
*Knowledge of modern maintenance techniques
