The Hop Farm, Kent's Leading Events and Hospitality Venue are looking for someone who can assist the manager with wedding and function enquiries and bookings. On occasions to supervise staff and manage our service at functions and events.
This person will provide that vital link between the kitchen, bars and our guests and will consequently be a positive team player with strong customer focused skills.
The successful applicant will assist the Manager of Weddings/Functions to agree staff numbers and equipment requirements and then assist in the implementation of our event plans and be the liaison with clients at events. Outside of events, you will be supporting the hospitality sales and events department based in the Head Office in Paddock Wood.
About the applicant:
• Will ideally have extensive experience of :
o working in a bar/cellar (including handling/moving stock)
o sales
o working in a hospitality venue (e.g. hotel/restaurant/gastro pub)
• Will be willing to work shift including evenings and weekends as and when required
• Must be IT literate, have a good telephone manner and smart appearance
• Will ideally be a personal licence holder although this is not essential.
