Experienced Receptionist required on a 3-Month temporary basis in Central London.

Hours Available: Monday to Friday (8am – 6:30pm)

Hourly Rate: £11.50 - £12.50 dependant on experience

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting visitors in the Reception area and ensuring that an appropriate welcome is extended at all times.
• Ensuring all visitors are signed in and out of the building.
• Answering the switchboard in a professional and calm manner.
• Responding to and directing enquiries to the appropriate staff members within the building.
• Responsible for ordering catering requirements.
• Ensuring refreshment machines are clean and accessible throughout the day.
• Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail through Royal Mail and other couriers.
• Responsible for booking transportation for visitors and management.
• Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
• Ensuring the postal and printing areas are tidy at all times.
• Maintaining the first floor meeting room and ensuring they are accessible and clean at all times.
• Setting up video conference calls on the first floor when required.
• Monitoring and issuing Security Swipe passes.
• Keeping a log of all visitors who use these passes temporarily.
• Updating telephone contact lists for the Reception area as well as updating the Emergency Folder information for Health and Safety purposes.
• Keeping a log of all invoices, couriers, cleaners and maintenance issues, first aid and incidents.
• Issuing of any first aid items required such as plasters, antiseptic wipes and keeping a record of all accidents that occur in the office.
• Office Fire Warden activities, responsible for the safe evacuation of employees in the case of an emergency.
• In the absence of the Office Manager, call in the appointed contractors for emergency issues for plumbing, electrical and heating etc.
• Assisting the Office and Facilities Manager with the monitoring and ordering of office supplies and stationery.
• Ensuring stationary cupboard are accessible and tidy.
• Assisting the Office and Facilities Manager with administrative support.
• Ad-hoc duties to suit the business needs.
