Hospice in the Weald is based in Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells, Kent and covers 400 square miles of West Kent and East Sussex. The Hospice has an In-Patient Ward, Hospice Day Service and Hospice in the Home Service, and cares for patients with life limiting conditions such as Cancer, Heart/Kidney Failure (end stages) and Neurological conditions.

We are currently recruiting for exceptional Nursing Assistants who are caring and compassionate with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude, to work as part of our Hospice Day Service.

You will support the whole clinical team to deliver a high standard of care to our terminally ill patients. You will be committed to providing individualised, compassionate, holistic and supportive care; maintaining patient’s dignity and prompting empowerment.

We require our Nursing Assistants to have an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or Palliative Care and knowledge of life limiting conditions is desirable.
