12 month maternity cover for an HR administrator required to start Mid September based in Mid Kent. You will provide a proactive, professional and supportive people administration and first line HR service to the firm across relevant service lines and nominated offices.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the administration duties for the relevant offices, providing support to the Hs and Regional HR Advisors as necessary.
-Main duties include
oPreparation of standard letters including offer letters, contracts, promotions, resignation acknowledgements, reference requests, probationary reviews
oUpdating the HR system (Cascade)
oStarter and leaver processes
oUpdating absence records and ensuring absence is monitored including for payroll purposes
oAcknowledging CVs & supporting recruitment including trainee recruitment activities
oBooking interviews and meeting rooms
oFiling
-Assisting with recruitment enquiries and speculative applications
-Ensure all written documentation reflects the professional image of the firm
-Updating The Hive (Intranet)
-Assist with the development of the HR function across the firm.
-Provide support to HR projects and daily activities as required
-Any other ad hoc duties such as may be required

Previous experience in a busy generalist HR team

Confident working on own initiative and able to work unsupervised but with the understanding of when to escalate matters appropriately
Well developed interpersonal skills including strong written and oral communication skills,
Proven client/customer service skills
Desired Attributes
Experience of Cascade
CIPD level 3 qualified, or studying towards
Experience of recruitment processes
