Mountjoy Ltd has been awarded a contract to provide Reactive Maintenance and PPM to buildings in the Horsham area. The Contract for Horsham District Council encompasses 156 properties of which 65 are temporary housing. The remaining properties consist of offices, commercial buildings, libraries, museums, parks, car parks, public toilets etc.


Your new role

We are seeking a conscientious, enthusiastic and experienced Technical Contract manager to lead, improve and grow this M&E/Hard FM Contract. They will be responsible for achieving and exceeding company business objectives (financial and qualitative) and client service delivery standards.

The aim is to maintain high client satisfaction through delivery of maintenance and repairs in a safe and controlled environment, whilst growing and maintaining strong working relationships with client representatives, developing new relationships and adding new clientele across a mix of roles.


What you'll need to succeed

You will have 3+ years' experience working as a Hard FM/Technical manager managing PPM tasks, producing service delivery plans, forward maintenance plan and 1 and 5-year PPM schedules. You will have 5+ years' experience in Property maintenance environment with asset management responsibility. You will be the expert for the works, providing assistance and solutions where needed.

The successful candidate will ensure that you have the right team you will set up and maintain the capability to deliver M&E/Hard FM services, providing support and manage the performance of the team to maintain a successful delivery, maximising and enhancing our reputation with our client.

Possession of interpersonal skills to manage the directly employed workforce, subcontractors and merchant supply chain partners in a professional and courteous manner. With this you will communicate with the financial business partner to ensure the operational performance is understood and connected to a financial return.

It is essential for this role that you have technical qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
