Technical Solutions Consultant
Location: Paddock Wood
Salary £50k - £70k

Responsibilities of the role:
As an IT consultant you will spend most of your time immersing yourself in our client's diverse client base, leveraging your experience and knowledge to build credibility and ultimately help their clients be more successful through technology adoption.
You will be a passionate and persuasive technology evangelist combining thought leadership with technical proficiency with an ability to articulate clear strategic guidance.
· Meet frequently with clients, building strong relationships and good understanding of their business, their goals and their technology requirements
· Develop a deep understanding of the specific business challenges faced by clients and use this knowledge and thought leadership to derive a business value message to drive technology adoption.
· Meet quarterly with Managed Service Client leaderships teams, developing the client's technology roadmap, budgets and schedules.
· Manage and maintain client business relationship with the highest level Executive contact
· Build credibility through a good understand of the client business verticals.
· Manage client escalations, request for information and request for proposals
· Keep up to date with the existing and emerging technologies and how these will benefit our client base
· Command authority and lead meetings with an executive audience, talking confidently and passionately about the desired outcomes.
· Design and deliver customer presentations, technology workshops and other client facing events
· Liaise with the Professional Services team to ensure proposals are completed on time and on budget
· Responsible for the opportunity pipeline success and health for assigned clients
· Have a deep understanding of the Solution Stack.
· In conjunction with Sales, use white space data to drive adoption of the full Solution Stack
· Act as a liaison between Sales and Professional Services to ensure both solution adoption and technical handover is achieved to a high standard on all occasions
· Attend Sales meetings and provide updates regarding opportunities.
· Ensure the project objectives and requirements are clear and agreed upon by all team members.
· Enter all work as activities, service tickets, or project tickets into ConnectWise.

What you will need
· Ideally you will have a Managed Services background and have previous experience in a Solutions Consultant role
· Good and adaptable communication skills; ability to talk non-technical 'features and benefits' to C-Level Execs, but also hold your own with technical meetings.
· Experience with most of our core technologies: O365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint), Azure, VMware, Hyper V MS Server (2012/2016), solid Networking knowledge, VOIP
· Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Citrix CCEA or CCIA, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA or VMware VCP
· Adopt a ‘Challenger Mindset’ to counter pre-conceptions, objections and other barriers to Solution Adoption
· Knowledge of IT applications, processes, software and equipment.
· Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
· Skill in planning and preparing written communications.
· Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
· Service awareness of all organizations’ key IT services for which support is being provided.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
· Positive and passionate about technology.

Job Offer
37.5 hours per week 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday. We need applicants to be flexible and be available to occasionally work additional hours where required to fulfil the demands of their role. In return, our client offers a competitive salary and a fun and rewarding environment for you to succeed.
