Position: Finance & Payroll Assistant

Rate: £12 - £15 per hour
Hours: 8.30am - 4pm

Our client is an Independent School catering for a diverse range of needs for boys and girls age 11-19. They are now looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to start after half term.

Due to this being a school you will need a valid DBS check and due to the location, this role would better suit somebody who drives.

The outline of the job is as follows;

- 4 or 5 days per week 52 weeks
- Payroll
- Accounts payable
- Purchase orders
- Petty cash

As Finance & Payroll Assistant it is preferred that you have previous experience within education and have knowledge of SIMS. This is not essential.

Ideally this will be an ASAP start so that a handover with the current member of staff can be completed on Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th August. The School will re-open on Wednesday 4th September.

Ideally the school would like a temp to perm placement, although an immediate permanent contract will be considered. Due to the location of the school the candidate will need to drive, and the hours will likely be 8.30am-4.00pm across 4/5 days per week. This a 52 week per year contract.

Part-time could be considered.
