This highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper with Payroll experience on a part time basis due to consistent growth in clients and expansion of the business.
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with payroll experience who really enjoys these aspects of the accounting function? Would you like to work with an interesting client base, supported by the Partners and staff of a highly professional accountancy practice? If so, then this could be the ideal role for you. Working between 15 and 25 hours per week.
You will be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping to trial balance stage, also VAT return preparation and filing; and processing client payrolls. The payrolls vary in client size and are weekly and monthly.
By its nature, the role will involve you in regular liaison with other staff, clients and HMRC.
Ideally, you will have gained your experience working with an accountancy practice. AAT Level 4, or a recognised Bookkeeping qualification would be preferred, but experience also counts for a great deal. Working knowledge of Sage, Xero or similar cloud-based packages would be beneficial.
There is flexibility over how the hours are worked. Salary will be pro-rata for the hours worked.
