SBK Healthcare is a small business which provides healthcare conferences for different segments of the public sector, although mainly the NHS. We work by researching and producing our own conferences and courses which are marketed to the potential audience, and they then book directly with us to attend on the day. In the role of Office Administrator you will have your dedicated responsibilities which will include:
Processing Delegate Bookings
• Take accurate bookings and enquiries – cross reference and input into database
• Polite and efficient communication with all in-coming callers
• Email confirmation, invoice and any follow up contact required
• Deal with queries and minor payment issues
Credit Control
• Following up bookings with payment requests before and after the event
• Persistently call and email non-payers to achieve payment
• Assist with payment queries
Event Planning and Preparation
• Creating delegate packs, ensuring their accuracy and high quality
• Liaising with speakers, delegates, venue and external suppliers
• Support the Event Coordinators in planning and preparing for the events
At the Event
• Attend the events, working with the SBK team to deliver a great experience for all attendees
• Supporting the team with speaker and delegate dinners
• Work with the venue and suppliers to ensure the event runs smoothly
• Ensure on-site marketing activities take place
Post Event Activities
• Updating the SBK database with correct details
• Providing appropriate post event communication
In addition you will provide a contributing role to the following people:
Event Coordinator
You will report directly to the Event Coordinator who has overall responsibility for all of the events taking place at SBK, managing the venues, preparing for and running events on the day as well as credit control. You will support in the administration of the events as outlined above.
Bookings and Customer Services Team
• Persistently call and email non-payers to achieve payment
• Assist with payment queries
Event Producer
The Producer is responsible for creating the event content and inviting the speakers, finally printing a brochure to promote the event. You will play an administrative role, helping to manage the event on the website.
Event Marketer
The Marketer is responsible for selecting the names from the database and promoting the event through mailing and emailing the brochure. You will be required to keep the database up-to-date to ensure accurate contact with potential attendees.

• Robust MS Office and keyboard skills
