Reed have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Creative and Design to join a well established growing company within the services market. To manage a team of 8.

To be considered by our client you must have experience in a Design role previously in house and have experience managing a team of designers.


Purpose:

You will be responsible for establishing, developing and managing all aspects of the design output for the company.You will be accountable for all online and offline design and creative output and commercial success of the design and creative department.

You will manage a sizable team with a mixture of designers and copywriters.



Responsibilities

** Manage a team of over 8 designers / copywriters

**You will lead and manage end-to-end development of copy, creative and design outputs that meet the organisations objectives

** Carry on developing their brand and proposition strategy.

** Establish the team to be the go to regarding the tone and messaging across all marketing platforms.

** Establish a strong framework to drive consistency in its delivery through all channels

** Lead concept development in relation to all copy, design and creative outputs, pitching concepts and solutions to internal stakeholders.

** Lead the requirements gathering from stakeholders to delivery.

** Develop and manage productivity within the team

** Ensure that design and creative projects are delivered on time and to budget.

** Establish quality control over design outputs and production within the team

** Establish and develop best practice with the copy and design teams.

** Line manage and coach all direct reports



Requirements

** You will be educated within a Marketing/Creative Discipline

** Have atleast 5 years experience in a managerial role managing a marketing team of atleast 8

** Will have at least 5years experience in a Senior Designer role, with a proven record in creating excellent brand and design work from concept to delivery

** You will have excellent organisational and communications skills - being able to manage multiple projects

** Have a high attention to detail 

** Strong Experience in Adobe Suite
