Assistant Accountant job in Sittingbourne £25k-£28k must have recent experience within an accountancy practice

Your new company
You will be working for an established Chartered Accountancy firm based in the Sittingbourne area. The Assistant Accountant job will sit within a small team and can be either part or full time.

Your new role
You will be responsible for full preparation of statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships. You will also assist with Bookkeeping, VAT preparation, preparation of Corporation Tax, Personal Tax and Partnership Tax returns. You will assist the Practice Manager & Senior Accountant as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need recent experience in a similar level position within a Chartered Accountants. You will have experience in statutory accounts and preparing accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders. You will have excellent IT skills including Sage, Quickbooks or Xero.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £25k - £28k dependant on experience with company pension and health insurance as well as 24 days holidays. The client will also consider Part-Time and Full Time applicants.
