This role requires you to ensure that first line maintenance is carried out, machines, processes and fixturing are clean and functioning correctly, replacing faulty components as necessary. You will be able to visually identify issues that would indicate the need to change tooling outside of the normal tool life.
You will raise any non-conforming quality parts to the team leader, you will carry out tool changing procedures, escalating any excessive tool usage.
You will have the ability re-set tool life, adjusting parameters and positional adjustments to machines accordingly. You will ensure tool availability/management, overseeing the smooth day to day running of the department, checking department quality and ensuring process quality information is adhered to.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
