We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years sales administration experience to join an established and successful event equipment hire business located in Northfleet, Kent.
Although a background within the events / hospitality industry is not essential, previous experience of working in a sales support or customer services environment is preferred.
The successful candidate will be a reliable, trustworthy, bright, team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to think outside the box. You must have professional but friendly approach and a willingness to go out of your way to help colleagues and clients when things don’t go to plan.
Hours of work are 1.00pm to 5.30pm 5 days per week, Mon-Fri.
We are offering a salary of £17,500 - £20,000 pro rata depending on skills and experience.
Main responsibilities:
• Dealing with customer enquiries via telephone and email
• Creating quotes and booking forms
• Accurate data entry on bespoke database
• Researching event specific details such as parking, venue access etc.
• Processing payments and updating customer account details
• Filing and general administration duties
Key Skills required:
• Excellent written and oral English
• Ability to communicate to people in all walks of life
• Ability to use Excel, Word and Outlook
• Attention to detail
• Accuracy when entering data
• Organised
