Our client, an established reputable organisation is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to be responsible for the production and delivery of all internal and external reporting requirements of the business, providing technical accounting advice to the divisional finance teams and being a point of contact with external auditors throughout the year.

You may be in practice looking to move to a commercial environment or you may already have a strong commercial background. Previous experience in IFRS statutory accounts preparation and the external audit process is preferable. You will need to be able to work to deadlines and have strong analytical skills.

You will be proactively contributing to the management of the financial control environment of the business, ensuring adoption and adherence to group policies, procedures and best practice, administering the accounts for the companies charitable trust management and statutory account, supporting the Finance Manager and control team.

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant who can demonstrate strong financial accounting skills, with a good understanding of financial reporting and IFRS, have good people skills, high standards and attention to details, be able to work in a team and independently, have a high level of experience with Excel and accounting software.

You will be a have achieved accounting qualifications (either ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with demonstrable PQE
