Contracts Manager – Civil – Ramsgate – Competitive DOE

Our client is an Award-Winning Civil Engineering Contractor based in Kent. They are looking for an experienced groundworks Contract Manager to join their growing business.

The Contract Manager will manage the site operations for allocated projects from successful tender through to completion, meeting all client requirements for quality, programme, and budget.

Requirements for this position are:
• Extensive industry related experience in civils/groundworks
• Excellent communication skills and diplomacy
• Demonstrable knowledge of risk assessments and H&S requirements
• Knowledge of JCT and NC3 essential
• Experience of Microsoft Project to create programme of works

Duties will include (but not extensive list):
• Attending pre-start meetings
• Overseeing 4+ projects at any time, from take-off through to completion
• Conduct continual review of all the allocated project to ensure compliance
• Ensuring H&S requirements are met including CDM
• Obtain necessary license and permits from relevant authorities
• Monitor and review operatives to determine competency
