This is an exciting opportunity for a senior quality individual to plan, organise and maintain exemplary quality performance & management in accordance with Group Quality, BRC and Safety Standards whilst maximising efficiency and controlling costs. The company is going through exciting investment changes and the ideal candidate will help set, implement and maintain new standards. They will be educated in a food related discipline and have experience within a Quality Assurance department specifically around food productions and storage environment. Knowledge and experience of BRC and multiple retailed audits, knowledge of retail product labelling and web based QMS experience.
Standards will be maintained through vigorous auditing and quality processes, to ensure the smooth running of key departments. Objectives and audits will be clearly managed through agreed KPI's Good knowledge of Food processing specifications, HACCP, BRC and Organic standards is essential.
The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge of HACCP (preferably a HACCP Qualification), auditing and previous experience in leading teams and implementing change. An understanding of micro swabbing and understanding of results would be beneficial. You will also have excellent English speaking and written skills.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, enthusiasm for quality and driving performance and continual improvement using clear KPI's. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work within a Production and warehouse environment, comfortable communicating with clients, external auditors, shop floor staff and board level colleagues.
