Due to the lovely weather that is just around the corner, we are searching for an additional Litter Picker to work on Folkestone’s prestigious coastal park!
No previous experience required, but we are looking for someone reliable with a good attitude, who will commit for the remainder of the summer season (until the end of September/October).
You will be contracted to work 10 hour shifts on a regular basis:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10am – 8.30pm
Monday 7.30am – 5.00pm
45 minutes for lunch unpaid
1 x 15 minute break am paid
1 x 15 minute break pm paid
Rate of Pay: £8.21 per hour
The job role will include a combination of:
Ensuring the park is litter free
Ensuring the litter bins are emptied
Ensuring the BBQ bins are emptied
Attending the public toilets on the coastal park (some toilet cleaning & re-stocking)
Working alongside the Assistant Park Keeper and permanent staff
Assisting visitors and park users in a polite and professional manner enforcing some bylaws (for example, dog fouling, camping, open fires etc).
