Barista
£8.21 Per Hour
We have an opportunity to work as Barista on a temporary basis for an expanding organisation based in Sandwich.
You must be able to work on a temporary basis, be flexible with your working hours, and be immediately available.
Due to the location of the role, you must hold a full current driving licence or be within easy reach of Discovery Park in Sandwich by public transport.
This role will pay £7.83 per hour and the hours are 7.30am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities
* To produce & serve all drinks to a high standard.
* To produce & present all food to a high standard.
* To deliver the highest levels of customer service.
* Maintain stock levels by replenishing displays and rotating stock.
* To maintain standards of health, safety and cleanliness.
* To demonstrate product knowledge by advising customers, answering queries and suggesting products as part of the ordering process.
* To act on initiative to optimise sales to the customer.
* To operate a till system and follow cash handling procedures.
* To maintain customer areas to company standards.
* To complete all tasks required by the daily cleaning schedule.
Person Specification
* Previous experience in a food service role.
* Flexible, immediately available and able to work on a temporary basis.
* Previously worked within a customer facing hospitality/retail environment.
* Enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer service.
* Able to work under own initiative.
* Friendly and able to communicate confidently with customers.
