Our client is seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to take a full time permanent role in their local Sittingbourne office.
The successful person should have some experience in Purchase and Sales Ledgers along with strong reconciliation skills. The role requires you to be an effective operator of the MS Office Suite of packages including Excel to an intermediate/ advanced level.
Working within a logistics and industrial supply sector and dealing with an international client base, you will be able to effectively communicate across a range of internal stake holders and clients alike, and be a demonstrable team player with very solid communication skills and proven attention to detail for accuracy in this role.
Knowledge of a stock based computer system would be an advantage - but a strong knowledge of accounting systems will suffice as training will be given.
Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm with one hour for lunch. The role is based in the Sittingbourne area and a car driver would be required due to the location of the office facility.
This role is a newly created opportunity through expansion in new business and the successful candidate can expect the role to grow in terms of responsibility level in the future - so a keenness to progress would be advantageous.
