A global manufacturing business based within one of Kent's most coveted locales are looking for three CNC Setters, Operators, or Programmers.

The firm have invested a huge deal of money and undertaken a large-scale expansion project and are are looking to expand their manufacturing capability by putting on additional shift - to cover nights.

The successful applicants will be responsible for setting and operating CNC multi-tasking lathes to manufacture components from raw material (bar stock) for our internal assembly flow lines to the highest quality and on time.

Key Responsibilities for the role include:

* Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce small to medium size batches of work in a timely manner
* Inspecting work to Engineering drawings using various measuring equipment and reporting any quality defects to the Machine Shop Supervisor
* Daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on machines, including maintaining good housekeeping standards and reporting any issues promptly to supervision
* Optimising efficiency's through reduced set-up and cycle times, plus tool life monitoring

In order to be considered, applicants will need to have demonstrable experience of practical, hands on experience setting and operating multi-spindle, multi-axis CNC lathes, with a minimum of 3 axis, coupled with experience of Fanuc controls
