We are looking for a payroll manager based in our Maidstone office. We are an expanding firm of chartered accountants with three offices in Kent.
The role will include the following -
* Meeting and exceeding assigned targets on a consistent basis ensuring accuracy at the same time.
* Managing relationships with clients, ensuring the smooth running of weekly and monthly payroll.
* Representing the firm, you will play an integral part in the success of the department
* Processing of monthly and weekly payrolls for a variety of clients
* Maintenance of computerised payroll database for the above mentioned payrolls including creation of records for new employees and the removal and payment of leavers
* Submission of RTI reports to HMRC
* Monthly reconciliation of PAYE, national insurance deductions and apprenticeship levy between the payroll, submitted RTI information and HMRC
* Calculation and payment of any amounts due in respect of deductions for court orders, salary sacrifice and flexible benefit schemes etc
* Handling P60s and pay slips
* Starter/Leavers documentations
* Dealing with queries regarding payroll, via phone and email
* Checking pay slips, starter details, sickness, leavers and maternity calculations
* Creating and updating trackers/checklists
