Prominent single site firm based in South Kent with strong brand recognition is keen to recruit an experienced tax manager to lead a team of 6.
This firm work on behalf of with a traditional mix of sole-traders, partnerships and Ltd companies but a concentrated element of larger owner managed businesses, group accounts and HNW and UHNW clients.
This firm have a market presence throughout Kent, London and the South-East.

Role:-

Leading a team of 6, you will be ultimately responsible for a large and mixed portfolio of fees whilst managing a professional and medium sized tax team.
Interesting aspects to the role include:-
• 2 of the team hold professional tax qualifications
• To include a core element of high level compliance; in excess of 50 % advisory work
• Almost even split of corporate and personal tax duties
• High degree of specialised project based work
• Responsible for growth of department

My client would be particularly keen to hear from those clients holding a professional tax qualification, have some experience managing a portfolio of tax clients and a tax team.
There is certainly future progression on offer for the right candidate and my client would welcome applications from those candidates that wish to progress further.

Sound technical skills will need to be coupled with strong man management ability and a strong commercial outlook.
