Based in the stunning setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey – a World Heritage Site – The King’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.

The King’s School require a full time, Biology Technician to provide support to teaching staff and classes in the Biology areas, as well as tackle a range of routine duties, within the department. The successful candidate will be required to work 44 weeks of the year, 40 hours per week, including 10 Saturdays (spread evenly throughout the year)

Reporting to the Head of Biology, the applicant must be prepared to adopt a flexible approach to working, in order to tackle a range of duties in the Biology department. The Biology Technician will carry out responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
• Preparing materials, resources and equipment for daily use and clearing away after Biology lessons.
• Managing departmental resources.
• Associated administration.
• Providing technical advice and help to staff and students.
