Mission Aviation Fellowship is an international Christian organisation whose mission is to fly light aircraft, and to use other technologies to bring help and hope to people in some of the world’s poorest communities. Every four minutes a MAF plane is taking off or landing somewhere in the world to assist missions, churches, aid and development agencies, and other local groups to transform lives and share the love of God.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the organisation for an experienced Recruitment Officer to support MAFI through the effective sourcing of candidates.

You will facilitate and support our international MAF Offices in the recruitment of staff to meet MAFI’s growing workforce needs. The primary focus of the role will be on attraction and early enquiry management making best use of our Career Portal and social media channels.

Other duties will include developing and coordinating recruitment campaigns, the writing of advertisements and associated material, communicating the progress of applicants and assisting with assessment days.

Additionally you will co-ordinate volunteer placements and internal staff transfers, ensuring all necessary preparation steps are carried out fully and well.

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in a similar recruitment role, ideally have a CIPD or equivalent professional qualification, possess excellent creative writing, numeric & communication skills and be an excellent relationship builder.

There is an occupational requirement for the job holder of this position to be a committed Christian. The post holder will be expected to take part in prayer and biblical reflection, and to be a role model for the organisation in accordance with our Christian beliefs and standards in the workplace.
