Our client is a long established solicitors that offers a full range of services for private clients from residential property to trusts and wills.

They are now seeking a Residential Property Solicitor or a CILEX/CLC qualified Conveyancer with a minimum of 1+ years post qualification experience in residential property to join them.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload including freehold and leasehold conveyancing sales and purchases, remortgages, equity release and lease extensions.

Your Responsibilities:

* Provide professional and competent legal advice and services in accordance with the SRA Code of Conduct and Conveyancing Quality Scheme

* To generate income in accordance with agreed targets

* To operate effectively within financial guidelines with emphasis on cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures

* To assist colleagues in fee earning matters during absence and periods of high work load

* To delegate and contribute to the development of others, where appropriate e.g. Legal Assistants

* To keep knowledge and skills up to date and to comply with all training requirements required by the position

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

* 1+ years previous conveyancing experience

* Excellent technical ability and organisational skills

* Experience of running own caseload

* Demonstrable ability to meet targets

* Excellent IT skills with the ability to do own typing, if necessary

* Excellent customer service skills
