A leading Legal 500 with an award winning Corporate Finance team are currently recruiting a Senior Associate Corporate Solicitor/Junior Partner to join their busy and highly successful team in Maidstone.

The successful Corporate Finance Solicitor/Junior Partner will join an experienced and friendly team, with excellent secretarial, junior Solicitor and Paralegal support. You will be managing a varied case load of complex transactions, such as Mergers and Acquisitions, MBOs and MBIs, business finance, corporate structuring and joint ventures.

The successful Corporate Finance Solicitor/Junior Partner will act as a lead Fee Earner, running the deal team on mid-sized and larger sized transactions (£2m-£10m and £10m+ respectively) alongside a Partner. You will also act as the Team Leader Corporate Finance Team including managing and mentoring junior Lawyers and support staff.

The firm typically deal with around 30 transactions a year, with values ranging from £1m to £120m. The quality of work that this firm deals with is exceptionally high, with many transactions being in line with those typically handled by Magic Circle City firms. They act for a range of large Corporations.

To be considered, the successful Corporate Finance Solicitor/Junior Partner will offer the following:

* To be admitted to the Solicitors roll with at least 6 years PQE, gained within a highly respected law firm/legal services.
* Have management/supervision/team leading experience with ability to train others
* Experience of scoping, pricing and allocating work
* To demonstrate a high level of technical expertise
* Be commercially aware
* Be able to be involved in marketing activities to generate new business
* Offer a high level of client care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be willing to learn and keen to develop
