An opportunity has opened to join the Greenkeeping Team at Hever Castle Golf Club. This is an outside role in all weathers.

The role itself will be to contribute to the day-to-day maintenance and the development of the golf course and the Castle estate to a very high standard.

This job is of a physical nature, with a full-time contract on offer and includes working weekends (mornings) on a rota basis. No accommodation is offered with this position.

Previous experience to NVQ Level 2 in Amenity Sportsturf or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential as an apprenticeship may be made available to the right candidate to gain this qualification. However, the following skills would be essential:

- The ability to work individually and as part of a team
- A flexible approach to work as early starts and weekend work is required
- Reliable and hard working with excellent presentation skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude with good time management and communication skills
- A current full driving licence

This position would suit someone at the start of their greenkeeping career or someone wishing to have a career within the sportsturf industry.
