IT Support Engineer - 2nd Line - Sevenoaks, Kent - Up to £25,000 - ASAP Start
My client has an exciting new position for an IT Support Engineer who has good experience with providing 1st & 2nd line technical support, supporting customers remotely and face to face as well as contributing towards a wide variety of IT projects.
My client offers on the job training and paid for IT certifications relevant to your role, progression, a fun and modern working environment and the opportunity to get involved with the latest tech across multiple size environments.
Experience Required
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* A full drivers license and own transport due to locations and travel
* Keen to learn and progress in your career
* Excellent customer service skills
* An understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, Remote Desktop Services, IIS, Active Directory and DNS
* Microsoft Desktop OS such as Windows XP/Vista/7,8 &10 and Office products
* Office 365 and Azure cloud services
* Working knowledge of virtualisation technologies, Hyper-V or VMware
* Working knowledge of backup technologies, e.g. Veeam, Asigra or other cloud-based backups
* Good understanding of networking, IP addressing, firewalling and public DNS
* Exposure to monitoring tools and applications
