Alchemy School are looking for dedicated individual (s) who can offer a student-centred approach, with a passion and commitment for supporting and teaching hard to reach youngsters. Your creative ideas & consistent behaviour strategies could make all the difference to a young persons life.
This position demands commitment, resilience and innovation as no two days are the same. Alchemy School is a small specialist independent school offering an alternative education to young people aged 11-19 who have been or are at risk of permanent exclusion, within small class groups.
We are looking for individuals to work in our school in Teynham and to deliver 1:1 support on occasion under the guidance on the Tutor. All candidates must be flexible and adaptable and willing to go above and beyond to assist our young people fulfil their potential.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
Experience within an SEN or SEMH setting is desirable but not essential
A Level 3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential as ongoing CPD will be provided.
Be engaging and easily approachable
Be committed to Safeguarding and Child Protection
Be computer and IT literate

This is a Full-Time, Permanent contract with L&P Educational Services Ltd. Our entire recruitment process is centred around Safeguarding and Child Protection. Therefore, all successful applicants, who are offered a conditional contract, will undergo thorough employment and character reference checks as well as an enhanced DBS.
