My client, an internationally recognised company, is seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12 month maternity cover basis to assist and report to director level.
This role prepares and reports the company`s financial accounts on a monthly basis with adherence to current UK GAAP policies and procedures. There is a Group structure and so attention to strict timescales is essential.
Duties will include, but not be excluded to:
- Preparing balance sheets
- Preparing budgets/forecasts
- Variance analysis
- Cash flows
- Liaising with External Auditors
- Weekly trading reports
- Accruals/Prepayments and Journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
You will also be assisting with other ad hoc project work as it arises. The successful candidate will be a part-qualified accountant, who is looking to make a move to enjoy the diversified workload a truly global company can offer.
