Technical Manager – Sandwich - £40-45K Depending on Experience
Our clients are a very established Timber Specialists in the design and manufacture of timber frames and staircases based in East Kent. They are currently expanding and are looking for an experienced Technical Manager, with a keen eye for detail.
You will be managing a team of designers, so ideal for a team lead that has a design background.
Role:
• Establishing of standard design detail for use within design process and on-site
• Liaison with estimating department regarding value engineering, ease of build, build sequence and cost savings
• Critical appraisal of design and engineering submitted by external consultants
• Looking at ‘buildability’ of design schemes on site in consultation with contracts team
• Ensuring development of internal systems to keep pace with changing market
• Outstanding knowledge of TRADA detailing
• Dealing with site issues that may arise through visit and consultation with installer, contracts team and external consultants
• Heading technical meetings with architects, clients and consultants
• Review of manufacturing process to ensure best practice
This role is varied and interesting role for the right Technical Manager.
Proven experience is essential.
