Based in the centre of Maidstone GeoMedia have developed a reputation for creative thinking and quality design. Due to continued expansion of our digital team we are seeking a developer to join us.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience building and maintaining websites. An in-depth knowledge of the WordPress platform is essential and some knowledge of launching, hosting and maintaining websites are also key skills for the role.

Applicants will be expected to ‘hit the ground running, to work, swiftly accurately and sometimes independently to meet deadlines on time. Our overall aim is to find an extremely motivated, hard working and creative individual who is looking for the best possible next step in their design career.


Key job role requirements
• Developing & maintaining bespoke WordPress websites
• Maintenance of existing features & plug-ins
• Assist in ongoing client requests
• Contributing to the development of new features
• Contributing to ensuring the security of the platform content
• Staying up to date with the latest WordPress updates and the effects that come with these updates
• Working with our creative team to bring our designs to life
• Can spot and rectify problems

Desirable but non essential skills
• Working knowledge of the Google Development tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP + JavaScript would be a bonus
• Knowledge of SEO and PPC, and how these can be implemented
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics and being able to show reports to clients


18 - 22K dependent on experience + plus commission
