Underwriting Fraud Investigator, Sevenoaks

Barker Munro is the leading specialist insurance recruitment agency in Kent and we are currently working with a growing company who are looking to add to their Fraud function.

As the Underwriting Fraud Investigator, you will support the Counter Fraud department in supporting the delivery on the key objective to prevent and detect fraud in a manner which complies with relevant legislation. This will be achieved through the effective management of policy referrals and continued development of the policy counter-fraud business unit, supporting the execution of tasks on the policy administration system.

The underwriting fraud investigator works as part of a small but experienced team who have an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to stop fraud before it occurs.

The role of underwriting fraud investigator requires a number of responsibilities, so what will you be doing? Well, Fraud Prevention / Detection and Intelligence distribution. You will work on and administer multiple systems including: SIRA, Lexis Nexis NCD and CUE. Having found fraud intelligence, you will support the investigation both on an internal and external basis to reach a satisfactory outcome.

So, what do you need in order to be considered for the underwriting fraud investigator? The ability to communicate clearly, precisely and with purpose is a great start. Also, a track record of undertaking insurance investigations to an exemplary standard would be highly beneficial. Knowledge of the Personal lines insurance market and especially a working knowledge of the private motor insurance would be great.
