This represents an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the assessment, selection, and implementation of a new ERP system for a multi-national fresh produce organisation. Working closely with the CFO you will project manage this significant company investment.

With an IT or Commercial diploma or degree and 6 – 8 years’ experience of ERP system implementation and integration, you will understand the requirements for this project to be successful and appreciate the benefits it will bring. Previous experience working within fresh produce, especially fruit (trading and warehouse) solutions/ systems would be highly beneficial.

Technical ability and understanding aside, this role is very much about the internal and external relationships you will be building. Understanding the needs of the business and the capabilities of the system to meet those is crucial to success.

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Analysis and documentation of the business requirements and processes,
• Finalization of the short-listed implementation partners and solutions,
• Completion of tender documents and tender process
• Management of implementation project with partner,
• Planning, budget control, milestone management, project meetings, change control, etc
• Set-up and structuring and collecting business and master data,
• Service provider SLA contracts and performance management
• Network, connectivity, hardware management and rightsizing, standardisation
• Security management with help of procedures for Backups, DRP, Passwords, Access.

In addition to the UK business, it is likely that this ERP system will also be implemented across three other European sites.
The ability to speak French and/ or Spanish would be a distinct advantage here. There will also be the need for some European travel as part of the project implementation.
