An exciting opportunity has a risen for a Legal Cashier to join a highly reputable professional services firm based in Tunbridge Wells.
Reporting into the Head Cashier you will share responsibility for all aspects of the financial procedures as outlined in the duties below.
The successful candidate will have at least 12 months experience working within a fast paced finance function as well as strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recording all client account receipts.
* Processing of payments from client accounts.
* Opening and closing accounts.
* Daily reconciliation of client bank accounts.
* Full reconciliation of all client, current and deposit accounts.
* Processing and logging all petty cash payments.
* Day to day administrative tasks.
* Processing requests for payment.
* Regularly reviewing ledgers and credit balances.
* Post payments and journals to the nominal ledger.
* Process the purchase ledger payment run.
* Reviewing new clients.
* Carry out time transfers and write offs when needed.
This role is immediately available, however notice periods will also be considered.
