Farrer Barnes is currently working in partnership with an eminent local business in aid of appointing a Management Accountant. Due to successful year-on-year growth, the business are seeking a part-qualified commercial Accountant to join their team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be required to assist in the provision of monthly reporting packs to be presented to senior stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

- Preparation of periodic financial statements including monthly management accounts, profit and loss and cash flow forecasts.
- Analysis of management accounts and subsequent investigation of any anomalies.
- Preparation of budgets on an annual basis and reviewing.
- Analysing financial performance to support business planning.
- Relaying financial information to non-financial people and putting accounts into context.

This role will be suited to someone who is part-qualified in their ACCA/CIMA and has demonstrable prior experience within a similar role.
