Quality Assurance Analyst

Our client is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be performing testing across multiple platforms such as iOS, Android and Windows. You will need to be a quick-learner and have the right testing mentality in order to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

The role of Quality Assurance Analyst is part of the overall transformation of the organisation our client is moving to automated testing so experience in this or a desire to learn and take on these new skills is essential. The QA Analyst will be responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other relevant internal and external systems.

We are looking for a QA Analyst who is enthusiastic and keen to learn their systems whilst developing your testing skills and contributing to the Software Development Lifecycle. Excellent communications kills are a key requirement in the QA Analyst role as you will be handling the testing of clients services.

They have a very friendly, relaxed environment. The company likes to keep a close “family” feel.
Situated in their new open-plan offices. This is an environment where everyone works together to help each other out. Everyone from the CEO is approachable and willing to help out if needed.
A member of staff should never go without help, all they need to do is ask at any point of their employment and someone will be there to help.
You will be working in a close-knit team, but should never feel like an outsider no matter your background. We are looking for QA Analysts who will embrace learning valuable skills on the job which they can use to progress within the company over time. You will use the latest technologies and techniques and have the opportunity to get involved shaping what they use and how they use them
You will be working with a world leading digital publishing product. With the opportunity to work closely with some of the biggest clients around the world.
The support team that you will be part of is absolutely crucial to the daily production of the company and therefore a support tech will have a lot of responsibility and due to this they should also feel important and needed.
The role involves new and different challenges every day therefore always keeping the role feeling fresh and engaging.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Analyst:
· Creation of test plans
· Writing tests scripts
· Carrying out testing as per the defined scripts
· Raising clearly defined bugs & issues using JIRA
· Liaison with the development staff to ensure bugs & issues are resolved in a timely manner
· Working with other testing staff to automate and improve testing.

Qualifications and experience required of the QA Analyst
· A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a testing role.
· Experience of working in a software house an advantage.
