ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT TO £28,000 PRO-RATA (PART-TIME)
FOLKESTONE
The role will include numerous duties including;
Process all bookkeeping entries
Raising sales invoices
Bank reconciliations
Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, cash flow and balance sheets
Month end journals including accruals, prepayments, deferred income, etc
Maintenance of various supporting schedules and calculations
Calculation of monthly management charge to subsidiary operations and reconciliation of intra-group balances
Management of accounts payable and monthly payment runs
Management of accounts receivable and debtor chasing
Processing of employee expense submissions
Quarterly VAT returns
Ongoing system and process improvements
Support the Managing Director & Operations Director with financial analysis and ad hoc projects
Requirements
At least 3 years experience within a finance function
AAT qualified or working towards qualification
Experience working in a dynamic SME environment
You will ideally be ready to come in and hit the ground running - making the position your own within a growing and well-established company.
