Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working closely with an expanding mid Kent based Insurance broker with over 50 staff who deal purely with Commercial Insurance products and clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business in a key (and very hands on) role reporting directly to the board, you will have a great influence on the future direction of the business so it is an exciting opportunity.

The ideal candidate would have experience managing within an Insurance broker in order that existing process, procedures and tasks can be maintained as well as looking for ways to make improvements where possible.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for managing team leaders within renewals, new business and administration
• Training/Development of staff
• Also spending a good deal of time being handls on and working directly with clients for the new business and renewals team
• Involvement with Recruitment
• Facilities
• MI
• Complaints
• Adhoc & planned projects

The company are flexible on salary as they are keen to secure the right person who will help take the business on to the next level.
The successful candidate will have similar management experience within Insurance broking, ideally with some exposure to Commercial Insurance but this is not essential, they can’t consider candidates from different industries unfortunately.
