Buckmore Park Kart Circuit are looking for professional, creative and energetic candidate to join our friendly and passionate team all working towards the same goals – to ensure our customers have a wonderful experience at Buckmore Park.

As a Catering Assistant/Supervisor you are key in the preparation of high quality meals, with the aim of achieving the highest levels of satisfaction for our customers. With a passionate approach you will prepare meals to our high standards ensuring that all food hygiene and health & safety is adhered to.

You should have a good knowledge of food hygiene and food preparation along with a positive attitude and a drive to work with the rest of the team and assist the Catering Manager. This position differs from some other catering positions as we are involved in a wide range of hospitality services, from serving sandwiches, burgers, birthday parties to catering for 200 people attending a corporate event (buffet and seat down service) - it is a real hands on job.

Food Preparation
● Preparation of food (Short orders and corporate catering)
● General cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen area, equipment and appliances
● Receiving, checking and safely storing kitchen deliveries.

General
● Understand and implement the principles of safe food handling, to ensure all food preparation undertaken is to the highest possible standards of hygiene;
● Understand and implement cleaning procedures and requirements of different surfaces and equipment and the properties of cleaning materials, to ensure the areas are well presented and maintained in good condition;
● Ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment - it can get busy in the kitchen!

● Be flexible within your working hours; Buckmore is open 7 days a week throughout the year and can operate between the hours of 7am - 11pm. Your shifts will include some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays, shifts are offered and accepted using RotaCloud, days and times you will work will depend on your availability (full or part time position) and the events on circuit.
● Be happy to stand for long period of time
● Previous Catering Experience (min 2 years) - short orders and corporate catering
● Full UK driving licence (due to the location and working hours)
● Previous management/team leader experience
● Interest in Motorsports would make working here even more exciting!
● Previous experience in the hospitality/leisure industry (not necessary but helpful)
