Applications are invited for the role of a synthetic sports surface maintenance operative within a small Canterbury based family run company. Operating from our yard and offices on the outskirts of Canterbury the role consists of cleaning and maintaining synthetic grass sports surfaces in schools, clubs and private properties throughout London and the Home Counties using our specialist machinery. The successful candidate will be offered full training. Once fully trained the successful candidate will be responsible for their maintenance machinery, van and trailer and be able to work on their own or as part of a two person team. The company also installs children's play surfaces and the applicant may be required to help deliver and collect materials to and from sites on occasions.
A full and clean driving licence is required. A licence to drive with a trailer would be an advantage although training through to taking a trailer test can be arranged within your employment . Due to vehicle insurance restrictions candidates will have to be 25 years and over.
The position would suit a candidate who enjoys working outside and meeting new people, has a basic knoweldge of machinery and is practical.
