Supply Desk is working with an Outstanding Grammar School in Maidstone with an exciting job opportunity for a Religious Studies teacher to join a successful humanities department. The Religious Studies role is offered with Subject Lead possibilities.

The Role

Our client school is seeking a new colleague who specialises in Religious Studies lessons taught to both KS3 and KS4. A strong knowledge of the Religious Studies curriculum is needed to thoroughly prepare and plan thought-provoking Schemes of Work. The role will require a committed Religious Studies teacher with a real passion to teach and to evoke a strong understanding of Religious Studies to pupils with a desire to learn.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed, you will be a qualified Religious Studies Teacher, ambitious NQT's are welcome to apply, who can start work from September 2019. You will need a spirited and passionate outlook on Religious Studies and Humanities to keep pupils at all levels engaged.

• QTS or an equivalent Overseas equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching the UK Religious Studies curriculum to KS3 and KS4. (KS5 desirable)
• Ambitious and dedicated to inspire and engage pupils of all levels
• A team member looking for progression over time
