Our client is looking for a Health and Safety Administrator to join their busy team in Sittingbourne, Kent.

As the Health and Safety Administrator, you will be responsible for the following;

- Making sure that all administration tasks are completed in an organised and timely manner
- Adhering to strict health and safety site policies, and promoting this within the business
- Recording and inputting accurate data into the company's in house system
- Support daily inspections of the premises
- Attending meetings and taking minutes
- Conducting health and safety inductions for all new employees of the business
- Answering the telephone, and dealing with health and safety issues as and when they arise
- Email correspondence
- Liaising with suppliers, booking delivery and collection slots

The right person for the Health and Safety role will;

- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Word and Excel
- Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Be organised, with a proactive attitude to work
- Be able to confidently talk to new employees, and train where necessary

This role boasts a salary of £17,000 - £18,000.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm.
