Working for a leading manufacturer in the fresh foods market, specialising in developing private label products for top global grocery retailers and well known international foodservice operators.

Role Purpose:

Work as part of the hygiene team to ensure the effective transition of equipment between operations and Hygiene whilst pro-actively contributing to improvement activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Complete required line/equipment/process checks and documentation
• Ensure operatives around the workstation are wearing correct PPE and adhering to health and safety processes
• Liaise with Hygiene Team Leader regarding equipment and tooling issues
• Ensure equipment is running correctly and carry out regular maintenance of hygiene equipment
• Carry out specified regular line cleaning operations and test
• Independently generate ideas to improve performance in working area
• Offer constructive feedback on proposed hygiene specifications and processes

Skills, know-how and experience required:

• Previous experience of working in a similar role preferred
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good understanding of food safety principles and application
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Structured approach to problem solving
