Reporting to: Head of Technical Service and Private Contracts

Area Covered – South East London, Dartford and Gravesend

Purpose of the job:

The Regional Field Manager position is a pivotal role within the company, and you are responsible for the management of both employees and operations within your area. You will create a winning team that is complimented on its high quality of work, customer service excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• First line contact and technical support of engineers
• Hold tool box and one to one meetings to highlight and resolve issues
• Ensure engineers are following company instruction on safe systems of work and legal compliance
• Investigation and resolution of complaint jobs, identify issues and inform line manager
• Follow up on gas audits fails and provide report and QC form
• Get actively involved in the recruitment, induction, and further development and training of your direct reports.
• Carry out engineer appraisals as required and create engineer action plans and improvement plans.
• Ensure absence, poor performance (technical and customer service) is addressed - carry out first stage of disciplinary action –
investigations.
• Keep up to date on Health and Safety and report any weakness in safe job procedures to Health & Safety Manager
• Take responsibility for Health and Safety, ensuring engineers are working within the Health & Safety plan including PAT testing. Ladder
inspection, Asbestos
• Fill out return to work and accident forms

Qualifications and Experience:

• Gas Safe registered
• Thorough and up to date gas safety knowledge and qualifications - CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, Asbestos Awareness
certificate – essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Gas Engineer/Technician
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in supervisory or management role
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
